The Revolution Food Fair Market is all about banting, with delicious eat-there treats and meals, as well as a wide variety of banting products and ingredients to take home. The market is now focusing on becoming a one-stop-banting-shop, expanding its offering to include a selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as dairy products, with even more in the pipeline.
The next market will be held this coming Sunday 26 July 2015 – at its winter location in Tokai.
For now, the market will still be held once a month, but come summer organisers plan to add extra dates to the calendar.

The monthly garage sale of donated goods on behalf of the KAPS (Karoo Animal Protection Society) will be held on Saturday, 2nd May 2015, 9:15 – 11.30am at 7 Moorland Crescent, Tokai, (Moorland Crescent becomes Keyser River Drive which runs between Tokai Medicross and Blue Route Mall).

KAPS is the only organisation providing a mobile welfare service for animals in the deprived areas of the Little Karoo in rural South Africa.
After a long absence from the public eye, impressionist landscape artist, James Yates, is looking forward to exhibiting his work once again. Having closed his High Constantia gallery back in 2009, there will be a three day exhibition to be held at the American International School in Soetvlei Road, Constantia. Running from Saturday 25th until Monday 27th April between 10am and 5pm, James and his wife Steph are hoping to re-connect with their many valued clients and invite all art lovers to come along and view his unique style.

The Tokai Forest Market formerly known as the Porter Estate Produce market, is an outdoor market located on the lower edges of Tokai Forest.
After a close call with the recent wildfires, the Tokai Forest Market is back on this Saturday 14 March 2015 from 09:00 – 14:00.
What you’ll find there:
Fresh produce (much of it organic), artisan breads, delectable honeys, free range lamb, vinegars, jams and pickles. Hand-crafted goods and clothes. Sit down and indulge in farm-style breakfasts, smoothies, moer-koffie and there are plenty of activities to keep kids busy.
