At a full Council sitting, The City of Cape Town last night approved the Link Africa agreement for utilising the storm water and sewer pipes for Fibre Optic cable rollout – and Constantia is the first beneficiaries of this system as we have piloted this scheme as a community initiative. The agreement applies to the whole metropole. Constantia then Bergvliet and Tokai will be the first areas to roll out in the Southern Suburbs.
The infrastructure has already started going into the ground , so get on to the top of the list for link up – visit www.constantiafibre.com to sign up with an ISP of your choice if you haven’t already done so – and move out of the dark ages of unreliable ADSL!
