During the cooler Autumn months, an experienced team from SANParks will undertake prescribed burns across the Table Mountain National Park region including the Tokai section.
Burns will take place when weather conditions are ideal. Temperatures must be below 25°C and wind speed must be moderate. SANParks will attempt to communicate the date of the burn when the weather conditions are met.
Members of the community are kindly asked to refrain from walking in burnt area’s.
